This are some great famous songs from the actual USA Singles Top 40. The first real success song that I could think of was Katy Perry’s featuring with Snoop Dog on the single called “California Gurls”, fror her latest album “Teenage Dream”. The song was released in 11 May this year and was produced by Dr. Luke. It is said that this song is Katy Perry’s response to Jay-Z and Alicia Keys song called “The Empire State of Mind”, because in his song he is talking about New York, so she wanted to create a song about Los Angeles (or California) also. The song is actually an electro pop song and it was number one for several weeks on the chart Billboard Hot 100. In the video, Katty is living in Candyfornia, a place inspired by the famous story of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. Snoop Dog is called in the video “Sugar Daddy”. The director of the music video was Mathew Cullen and it had it’s official release on June 2010.
Everyone has heard at the radio the famous song “Billionaire” performed by Travie McCoy and Bruno Mars. Travie McCoy released his debut album (“Lazarus”) this year, on July. And the first single from this album is “Billionaire”, a featuring with Bruno Mars. But few know that actually Bruno participated on the production of the song, with Philip Lawrence. The theme and lyrics of this single are simple: Travie says, or he imagines how he will feel if he would become famous and be a billionaire. The song was released on February this year and had a great success, because it is just different from other songs, and because many of us imagine the same thing while we are listening it. The song hit number 4 position on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Taio Cruz had a lot of success this year and he had the same success with his latest song, called “Dynamite”. He also helped to write the song, along with Max Martin and Benjamin Levin. The song can be listened on Taio’s second album called “Rockstarr”. It was released in the end of May 2010 and it has the number one position on two charts from US: US Pop Songs and US Hot Dance Club Songs. The song is about feeling so good at a party that you feel like you are going to explode.
